Broadway had at least two other relevant manifestations. In the mid-1930s, it reappeared as an ARC subsidiary.

It was arranged that the main domestic series, when it had reached 22999, would skip the apportioned race and country blocks and recommence at 24000. The 23500 series was terminated at 23859 in early 1934, and thereafter virtually all of the company’s country recording was for its cheaper label, Bluebird (see entry). The W- prefix that appears on discs, added to 80000-series matrices from December 1926 onward and to all 400000 matrices, denotes the Western Electric process. Some recordings from the OKeh 45000 catalog were also issued in the company’s 16000 Mexican series, usually with their titles translated into Spanish and artist credits appropriately altered. The OKeh 90000 series was a short-lived catalog of Cajun material, reissued from the Columbia 40500-F series. Overseas, OKeh country items appeared in small numbers on both British and Australian Parlophone and more seldom on the British Ariel and Australian Kismet labels.
